Real people, real thoughts ... for sharing.
There have been so many testimonials and success stories over the years, that I thought it would be a nice idea to share them with you - especially as I feel it gives some 'hope' to people who may feel that they are 'alone' with a problem, with no real prospect of moving on in life.
All the testimonials and success stories are perfectly real and genuine and are held on file in the main office in Cambridgeshire. They have all been given the 'thumbs-up' by my professional association, the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts, as being 'Verified', and all the individuals that wrote these pieces (whether named, or otherwise), have kindly given their full permission for them to be used and published in this way.
Additionally, some of the pieces also refer to Paul Douglass, and in instances such as these, it simply means that we both worked with the client and that the subsequent testimonial was written to the both of us.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH for being so incredibly patient, understanding, helpful, lovely, trustworthy and genuinely nice during the last few months and, most of all, for bringing those AMAZING changes into my life.
I had hoped for some improvement when I came to see you the first time, but I never ever imagined that so many things would be sorted out and that I would feel that much better -- not just about relationships but about myself in general.
It was another failed relationship that made me go and get professional help, not being entirely convinced that there was much I could do about my pattern -- which was always ending up with the wrong guy. But rather than waiting for Mr. Right, I thought it was better to do something about it. And I am so glad I did! My views, opinions and feelings have completely changed.
Along the line, my fear of seeing others being sick and the fear of being sick myself somehow disappeared and I would have never believed before that this could be cured. And guess what? I saw "The Last King of Scotland" on Saturday and there is a scene where the guy vomits and it did not bother me at all. I was so happy that your magic had worked that I actually enjoyed watching it. Spooky!
I really did enjoy the sessions -- with both of you -- they were good fun and you made me laugh so many times -- and they were definitely the most interesting thing I have experienced in my life so far.

"I visited Denise mainly at the Hitchin branch about a problem I had struggled with for many years - vaginismus.
Really hypnotherapy was one of my last hopes. With such a personal problem you need someone who is going to make you feel at ease & able to just say whatever comes into your head without judging you.
Denise did just that! She is such a friendly, down to earth lady, a pleasure to have met.
Even just on a general level I feel a lot calmer, more positive & can take things in my stride more.

I would recommend the treatment and of course you and Denise to anyone and everyone who needs a little help getting back on track.. I think its taken so long to get back to you because i have almost forgotten what it was like to have commitment phobia, there is hope out there for people suffering from it....i never thought i would get through it.....and used to come home crying a couple of times a week because it was so bad....

"When I first contacted the practice I really didn't know what to expect and felt that I'd got to the end of the road - if this didn't work then that was 'it'. The crippling pain of vaginismus would be there to stay and I'd just have to accept it. From the first email to the last session I was treated with complete understanding and sympathy, which after getting on for a decade of not being taken seriously or just simply being 'dismissed' was a really welcome relief.
I still don't understand completely how hypnotherapy works, all I can say from my own experience is that with such a personal problem talking about it is really not easy - whether it's to another female or not. However if you can get over the first hurdle of picking up the phone to make the first appointment you've made huge progress.
Luckily for me it's worked and my husband and I are not only very pleased but also very grateful. Hopefully soon we'll be able to start trying for a family, something which just three months ago was completely out of the question.

"I just wanted to let you know how I was getting on, basically, I have been meaning to thank you for a while but I keep forgetting because to be honest I don't even think about my 'problem' these days, its history and I can't believe how much it previously dominated my life.
I actually thought about the treatment only last week after I had been out for a meal with some of my girlfriend's family whom I had only just met. A year ago I would either made an excuse not to go, or had to get drunk to relax beforehand, but I just walked in to the restaurant, sat down and enjoyed myself, no problems, no fuss, no worry.
There have no doubt been countless occasions since we concluded the treatment when I have acted differently to before, but its become such a way of life now that I take it for granted and feel so much more relaxed and happy for it.
Thank you so very much for the treatment, I was beginning to doubt I could ever have been 'cured' but I have been, the few people that I have told about it all asked me the same question "so what did she do to you?" and I always say "I'm not quite sure, but it definitely worked!"
